The third One UI 7 beta update is now rolling out to Samsung’s Galaxy S24 series with some UI tweaks and various bug fixes.
After One UI 7 launched in beta on the Galaxy S24 series back in early December, Samsung rolled out a second update just before the new year. Now, a third beta is rolling out, and it brings a handful of UI tweaks along with it.
With the new vertical app drawer in One UI 7, Samsung has added a quick prompt to explain to users that the app list now scrolls vertically. There’s also a UI fix for the scroll bar. The battery icon has also been changed, widget scaling is improved, and the Quick Settings panel is now wider too. Samsung has also made it possible to switch the “Quick Panel” to the left side of the screen when the Quick Settings are split from the notification panel.
Alongside those changes, spotted by That Josh Guy on Twitter/X, Samsung has also added a new icon for Galaxy AI, as well as changing various sounds throughout the system. There are also improvements to the controls for Samsung’s “Now Bar” feature on the lockscreen,
Samsung’s official changelog, below, primarily focuses on bug fixes over any of the other visible changes in the update.
