OnePlus 13 gets first update on top of Android 15, here’s the changelog

Following the OnePlus 13’s launch last week, the OnePlus 13 is getting its first software update with new fixes, features, and more.

Rolling out now, early OnePlus 13 buyers can check for the first software update on the device. The update brings fixes for IPv6 Wi-Fi and Bluetooth, new camera styles, improved 4k60 videos, and Live Alerts for charging. There’s also the December 2024 security patch, all wrapped up in the 1GB update.

The full changelog follows, and this is all on top of the Android 15 build that the device ships with.

Adds a Touch to share feature that supports IOS devices. You can share photos and files with a touch

Improves the color performance of photos taken with the main camera and telephoto lens in Photo mode

Fixes an issue where photos might be too bright when taken with the rear camera in Photo mode.

Improves the tone and color accuracy of photos taken with the rear camera in Photo mode.

Improves audio quality.

System

Adds charging status to Live Alerts for a better user experience.

Improves system stability and performance.

Integrates the December 2024 Android security patch to enhance system security.

Apps

Adds Al features to Google Messages.

You can now add the 1×2 Weather widget to the Home screen.

Improves the look and feel of the step tracker widget.

Improves the look and feel of the “Storage cleaner widget.
