Samsung has just officially teased its upcoming “Galaxy S25 Edge,” with the thinner smartphone coming later this year.
Like last year’s Galaxy S24 event where Samsung teased the Galaxy Ring, today’s event finished with the tease of what’s to come, the Galaxy S25 “Edge.”
Samsung’s Unpacked event today detailed the Galaxy S25 series alongside a lot of Galaxy AI and Gemini news.
The event also brought a tease for the company’s coming Android XR headset, previously announced as “Project Moohan.” Samsung also hinted at a coming tri-fold foldable and smart glasses.
The end of Unpacked 2025, though, also offered Samsung’s first official teaser for the Galaxy S25 “Edge,” as Samsung showed off the thin profile and components of the device with a voiceover by Paul Bettany, aka JARVIS/Vision from the Marvel Cinematic Universe.
The Galaxy S25 Edge, previously known as the “Slim,” has been leaking for months at this point, with Samsung’s thin flagship reportedly set to launch as soon as April or May. It’s also said to be 6.4mm, almost 2mm thinner than the Galaxy S25 Ultra, and 1mm thinner than the Galaxy S25+, with roughly the same screen size as those two devices. It would still be powered by Snapdragon 8 Elite, reports claim.
Samsung has yet to confirm anything other than the name, including any release window.
