Nothing teases new hardware debuting in March, probably Nothing Phone (3) or (3a)

As it seeks further growth, Nothing is teasing its first product launch of 2025 which is probably the Nothing Phone (3) or Phone (3a), now expected to see a launch date in March.

2024 went by without a “flagship” smartphone from Carl Pei’s Nothing, but came with the promise that the Phone (3) would be coming sometime in 2025.

Now, it seems we have a potential launch date for Nothing Phone (3).

In a teaser, Nothing confirms a new hardware launch on March 4 at 10am GMT. The teaser doesn’t tell us much beyond showing what looks like a new iteration of Nothing’s Glyph lighting effects on what looks like a camera module for three cameras (which would be one more than anything Nothing Phone to date). While this is very possibly for Phone (3), it also seems like it could be for a new mid-range device, as a page on Flipkart mentions “Nothing Phone (3a)” in a URL.

A prior teaser used Nothing’s widgets, further suggesting this new announcement is the company’s anticipated smartphone.

The March 4 date puts this launch in the midst of Mobile World Congress in Barcelona, Spain. That’s matches a pattern, as last year’s Nothing Phone (2a) also saw its debut at the annual tech conference, and serves as added evidence this could be for Phone (3a).

Are you looking forward to Nothing Phone (3) and/or Phone (3a)?
