Galaxy S25 pre-orders are starting to ship a week early

The Galaxy S25 went on sale for pre-order last week, and the phone is already shipping and is slated to get delivered an entire week early — as long as Samsung doesn’t block it.

Generally speaking, manufacturers like Samsung will set a pre-order and launch date, along with a release date. That pre-order date fell on the day of Unpacked, which happened on January 22. Since then, those who’ve pre-ordered the devices have been expecting to wait until February 7, which is the scheduled date Sasmung set up as the official release of the device. This lines up with when retailers will be able to stick the phones on shelves.

In reality, it looks like the Galaxy S25, S25+, and S25 Ultra are going to be delivered soon. Specifically, a week earlier than expected. According to a few reports online, new UPS notifications are being received stating that the Galaxy S25 has begun shipping and expected delivery dates of around January 30. Droid Life has also corroborated this report with a similar UPS expected delivery.

It is possible that Samsung blocks the delivery, much in the same way that Google will hold pre-orders before being delivered to ensure they get into the customer’s hands on the specified date. This is generally rare for Samsung, so it shouldn’t be expected that this will happen. Each year it seems a slew of Galaxy S line pre-orders come in early, which is never a bad thing for customers.

The Galaxy S25 is still in its pre-order phase, which means the company is still offering the Galaxy S25 Ultra for $399 with a free pair of Galaxy Buds Pro 3. The S25 and S25+ are still on sale with some really nice trade-in offers.
