Samsung is making an official “Magnetic Wallet” for its Galaxy S25 series, despite the phones not actually having built-in magnets.
The Galaxy S25, S25+, and S25 Ultra are the first “Qi2-Ready” smartphones, adopting the Qi 2.1 standard with the ability to offload magnets to cases instead of leaving them inside of the smartphone, as was previously required. With the launch of its new devices, Samsung also launched official case options that add magnets to the Galaxy S25 series, opening the door to a world of new accessories.
As we previously covered, though, there’s a clear problem.
The placement of the charging coil in Samsung’s new devices puts many Qi2/MagSafe accessories, particularly wallets, in a place where the lowest cameras are partially covered. Samsung is getting around that with its own “Magnetic Wallet,” which has a raised magnetic ring that pushes the wallet below the cameras. Spigen, having worked with Samsung, is doing the same with its wallet accessories that are designed for Galaxy.
Samsung’s official wallet will be the best in terms of price for now, though. While it’s generally going to be sold for $29.99, the company is currently selling most Galaxy S25 accessories, including the magnet case and this new wallet, for half off. That brings the price down to just $14.99.

The wallet itself looks very basic, with a faux leather finish and what appears to be room for 2-3 cards. Samsung’s store listing provides no additional details.
Samsung is shipping this wallet now, meaning it should arrive in time for Galaxy S25 deliveries next week. However, Samsung’s magnetic cases aren’t yet available for purchase, meaning you’ll need to get an option from someone else instead. Spigen, as mentioned, has cases available, and there are many other brands with magnetic cases that are readily available for purchase.
The Galaxy S25 series is now available for pre-order from Samsung.com, with up to $1,200 in savings, plus an additional $50 off when you click on our links and order within 30 minutes.
