In preparation for One UI 7, Samsung is rolling out a new update to its Galaxy Buds 3 Pro companion app which revamps the control widget to match the company’s updated style.
Galaxy Buds 3 Pro Manager v7.0 is slowly starting to roll out to users with one key change, a new widget design.
The revamped Galaxy Buds 3 Pro widget is a bit bigger by default, but has some appreciated changes. The icons are now bigger and show the current setting even when the Buds are not connected.
Customization to the widget has also been updated to include a dedicated toggle for the background coloring, rather than relying on a slider as was previously the case. If you do still want a colored background, you can choose between matching the phone’s current setting or using dark or light mode at all times. There’s also an opacity slider to adjust the transparency of the background.
The folks over at SamMobile note that this update is rolling out via both the Galaxy Store and Play Store, though we didn’t get the update immediately though the Play Store, so your results may vary while the rollout is ongoing.
It’s likely that other Galaxy Buds models will get similar widget design updates soon.
This comes ahead of Samsung rolling out One UI 7 to more devices. The company has yet to announce further details on when the Android 15-based update will be coming to older Galaxy devices, but it’s available out of the box on the Galaxy S25 series, which is shipping now to buyers.
