YouTube TV confirms outage for select channels, fix starting to roll out

If you’re struggling to watch certain channels on YouTube TV, you’re not alone, as the service has just confirmed an outage affecting a handful of channels.

In a forum post, Google confirms that a number of CBS, Telemundo, and CW channels are down for YouTube TV users. For those affected, playback doesn’t work for these channels even though others are unaffected.

The list of affected channels includes:

  • KOTVDT
  • KQCWDT
  • KXGN
  • WNOLDT
  • KGWN
  • WTVRDT
  • KXLH
  • WWTV
  • WFQXDT2
  • WDNI

Luckily, Google is already working on a fix.

On Reddit, a YouTube TV community manager confirmed earlier this morning that a fix for at least some of the affected channels has been implemented. The same update has yet to be shared to the original forum post, though, suggesting the problem hasn’t been fully solved just yet.
