The OnePlus Watch 3 was ‘Meda in China’

A hilarious typo on the bottom of the OnePlus Watch 3 says that the device was “Meda in China.”

The OnePlus Watch 3 is a welcome step up from the prior generation, delivering even better battery life and various hardware upgrades. But on the bottom of the smartwatch, there’s a pretty big oversight.

“Meda in China.”

That’s printed on the bottom of the OnePlus Watch 3 alongside the model number and other details. This is obviously a typo for “Made in China,” where the OnePlus Watch 3 is manufactured, but it’s pretty funny that it’s made it to production models of the Watch. The typo was first spotted on Reddit, and we’ve confirmed it on our review unit as well. Presumably, this will be fixed in future production runs.

Notably, OnePlus does not show the Watch 3 from the bottom in any photos on its website.

The OnePlus Watch 3 is now available for pre-order and starts shipping on February 28. It’ll be interesting to see if initial deliveries still have this typo.
