Verizon has a nice discount available for its customers who are looking to try out Google’s YouTube TV, with a $20 discount on each of the first six months of service.
On the carrier’s website, Verizon explains that new YouTube TV subscribers who are also “Home Internet” or “Mobile” customers can save $20 per month for their first six months, taking the usual price of $82.99/month down to $62.99/month.
Verizon says:
If you’re a new YouTube TV customer you’ll receive YouTube for $62.99/month for 6 months, plus taxes. After 6 months, you’ll be billed the in-market standard rate, currently $82.99/month.
It’s a solid offer for Verizon customers, though it does require linking your YouTube TV account through “MyVerizon” to redeem the offer. Your bill for the streaming service is then combined with your Verizon mobile or home internet bill.
Verizon doesn’t mention if there are any specific plan requirements for this offer, so head over to the add-on page to see if you’re eligible. Importantly, though, this offer isn’t available to accounts that have used YouTube TV in the past.
