If your bedside table is covered in charging bricks and loose cables, Aukey’s new ultra-powerful charging station might be the gadget you’ve been waiting for — but it’ll cost you a pretty penny.
Qi2 is everywhere these days, and Aukey is getting in on the fun. The company unveiled the MagFusion DeskHive 5X Pro this week at CES, and it’s capable of providing about as much power as it has syllables in its name. The 5X Pro includes four wired outputs, though not all of them are created equal. Alongside a standard fixed USB-C port and a legacy USB-A port, Aukey’s built two retractable USB-C cables capable of reaching up to 29.5 inches. That should help cut down on tabletop clutter, all while offering up to 140W from the main USB-C cable alone.
Four outputs are pretty powerful on their own, but you’ll also find a 25W Qi2-compatible mounted charging puck as well. With an aluminum-alloy hinge rated for 10,000 adjustment cycles, traveling with this charging system is completely possible — it’s measures in at just 3.76 × 3.76 × 3.07 inches. Aukey’s also included a small display capable of showing real-time output per port and real-time total system output.
The MagFusion DeskHive 5X Pro is set to go on sale in Q2 2026, and it won’t be cheap. At $150, it’s one of the more expensive charging units you’ll find on store shelves — and yet, considering how many chargers it’s replacing, it might be a sound investment.
Aukey announced a handful of other charging products for 2026 at this year’s CES, including a “true-wireless” charging system with portable Qi2-powered orbs named the MagFusion Ark, and a 10,000mAh portable Qi2 battery bank with retractable cables called the MagFusion Reel 10000. Both of those are coming in Q2 2026; pricing for the Ark has yet to be announced, but the MagFusion Reel will run you a cool $90.
