Google Pixel 10a releasing in ‘mid February’ with ‘Berry’ color, leak claims

Google’s Pixel 10a might be releasing much earlier than anyone expected, with a February release date in the works and a new “Berry” colorway also coming.

WinFuture’s Roland Quandt says on Bluesky that Google will have the Pixel 10a on retail shelves by “mid February,” implying a release date around that time and perhaps a launch even sooner.

That’s much earlier than expected.

Last year, the Pixel 9a was announced in mid-March ahead of a release date in April (though that was due to a slight last-minute delay). Moving the Pixel 10a ahead over a month is surprising, but Quandt has a pretty solid track record, so this is likely true.

About six months from the other phones makes a lot of sense to me. Hopefully other products will come out along side it, like the new speaker.

Update: Droid-Life specifically mentions February 17, 2026, as the Pixel 10a’s potential release date.

Quandt’s post also claims that Pixel 10a will come in 128GB and 256GB storage variants, with colors including “Obsidian” (black), “Fog” (off-white, based on Pixel Buds), “Lavender” (purple), and “Berry.” That last one is new, and will seemingly be a red color if it lines up with the “Berry” color Google launched on the Nest Cam (3rd gen) last year, as pictured above.

The Pixel 10a is expected to be a modest upgrade at best, lacking a Tensor chip upgrade, keeping the same design, and overall just making it feel like the Pixel 9a on sale is a better buy. From the looks of it, we don’t have long to wait to find out more.
