Samsung is bringing its in-house refurbished program to France, Germany, and the UK

Samsung’s Certified Re-Newed program makes for an easy way to help the environment and save some cash on your new phone, and starting today, it’s expanding to three new regions within Europe.

Samsung is bringing its refurbished program to France, Germany, and the UK, beginning with the Galaxy S25 series. It’ll continue to be called Certified Re-Newed in the latter two regions, while French Galaxy fans will instead see the name “Refurbished Premium by Samsung.” The actual process of restoring returned or lightly-used devices remains the same, including breaking out more than 100 quality tests and “rigorous cleaning.” Any repairs are done using genuine Samsung parts.

Although it’s only the mainline Galaxy S25 trio that’s available from the jump, European Samsung fans can expect to see additional devices added to what’s available in the months to come. In the US, Samsung currently offers the Galaxy S25 alongside foldables like the Galaxy Z Fold 6, Fold 5, and Flip 5. The company’s been on a bit of a tear lately, adding devices numerous times throughout 2025 rather than opting to wait for Earth Day as in years past. I would be surprised to see the Fold 7 appear with a Certified Re-Newed option sometime in the coming months, especially once its successor hits store shelves.

If you aren’t yet in a region with Certified Re-Newed active and available, don’t fret. Samsung says it will continue to bring the program to new markets “based on market demand and consumer needs.” And with RAM continuing to hit sky-high levels of demand, offering more customers the ability to buy pre-existing devices at a discount might be a win-win for everyone involved.
