Google announces Pixel 10a with completely flat camera, pre-order Feb 18

Google this morning officially announced the Pixel 10a via a video teaser emphasizing the updated design.

A short 15-second video from Made by Google shows the design of the Pixel 10a in full. The most notable aspect is a completely flat camera after last year’s model had a raised bump or lip around the pill. This dual-camera system is now perfectly flush with the rear. (The transition between the company logo to the camera is amusing and well done.)

We see the Pixel 10a in a blue-purplish color that looks identical to the Iris we have today. We’re expecting a few other colors and the “berry” background in the clip gives that away. Otherwise, the design is almost identical, with what happened for the flagships replicated on the A-Series.

No specifications, pricing, or details were shared with this morning’s announcement. Today’s tagline is “A phone with more in store, in store soon.” Hopefully, Google has some software or other surprises given the near-identical hardware.
