Google is handing out a $20 discount to some YouTube TV subscribers which lasts for four months – a total of $80 off of the service – but it’s pretty hit or miss on if you’ll have the offer at all.
YouTube TV discounts aren’t all that uncommon, with Google handing out the occasional offer here or there, sometimes for the sake of keeping a customer on board when they try to cancel. And, now, another one of those offers is floating around.
A number of YouTube TV subscribers on Reddit and Twitter/X report that an offer has appeared on their account with a discount of $20 per month for their next four months of service. The offer, which a number of users have been able to redeem, appears in YouTube TV account settings with no notice.
To check on the offer, head to your YouTube TV account settings (tv.youtube.com/settings/subscriptions) on a desktop browser and tap “Manage.” If the offer is available on your account, as pictured below (as shared on Twitter/X), you’ll see a button showing the $20/month YouTube TV discount. If the offer isn’t available, there doesn’t seem to be any obvious way to get it to show up.
It’s unclear if there’s any rhyme or reason to YouTube TV offering this discount to some subscribers and not others, but our account fell into the latter. Let us know in the comments below if it’s available for you!
