Samsung’s phones are now seeing an update with its latest security fixes and improvements. The February 2026 update is rolling out to most of Samsung’s newest devices, including the Galaxy TriFold, which still isn’t quite back in stock.
Samsung has officially begun the rollout of its February 2026 patch, starting with devices in Korea (via SammyGuru). The update initially began appearing on the Galaxy S25 series and has started on Samsung’s other, more specialized devices. That would include its fold and flip devices, like the Galaxy Z Fold 7, Flip 7, and even the new Galaxy Z TriFold.
Samsung’s February 2026 update is appearing on the heels of the company’s One UI 8.5 upgrade, which is set to debut on the Galaxy S26 series in just a couple of days. This patch seems to finally be appearing on devices outside of the One UI 8.5 beta Samsung made available recently.
Even though the update is currently active in South Korea, users should expect it to expand to other regions shortly. Generally, Samsung’s updates take a few days to reach the US and Europe after an initial rollout.
The patch doesn’t carry any major changes to One UI, though it houses several security vulnerabilities that may need attention. Beyond that, it looks like a standard patch worth downloading. Users can download the update in the Settings, via the Software Updates section.
Currently, it appears Samsung’s Galaxy S25 models, the Fold 7 lineup, and Flip 6 devices are the only serial devices with an available February 2026 security update. That doesn’t include the TriFold, which stands on its own. Galaxy S24 and other devices should see the patch sometime soon.
