OnePlus’ upcoming compact Android phone is getting some extra power, with the company confirming the OnePlus 15T will house a 7,500mAh battery.
In a Weibo post by the company’s president, Li Jie Louis, OnePlus confirmed that the upcoming OnePlus 15T would feature a 7,500mAh battery (via GSMArena). The cell is branded with the same moniker as the previous device’s battery. With that “Glacier” name attached, at least in China, the phone is expected to carry a similar silicon-carbon structure.
The battery is also confirmed to be compatible with 100W wired charging and 50W wireless charging.
The OnePlus 15T is expected to be based on the OnePlus 15, released at the end of 2025, and, according to this news, it packs 200 mAh more than the flagship model’s battery. As is the case with “T” variants, the device is slightly more compact than the flagship. From what the company’s president has posted so far, it looks like both the battery and camera are getting a decent upgrade over the 13T. Previous reports note the device will bring a LUMO periscope telephoto lens.
Rumors also point to the inclusion of Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 SoC. If that’s the case, there doesn’t seem to be much this device is missing.
The phone will be IP66, IP68, IP69, and IP69K water and dust-resistant. No date has been confirmed yet, though it likely won’t be much longer before the company makes the OnePlus 15T and its larger battery official.
