Honor Magic V6 now available in China with an even bigger 7,150 mAh battery

Following its announcement at MWC 2026 earlier this month, the Honor Magic V6 is now available in China and with an even bigger battery than the global release.

The Honor Magic V6 isn’t a huge upgrade from its prior iteration, but the massive 6,660 mAh battery combined with thin and refined hardware was enough for it to take home one of 9to5Google’s Best of MWC awards. It’s an impressive foldable through and through, but it was always going to be releasing in China before the rest of the world.

That day has come, with Honor Magic V6 now available in China starting at ¥8,999.00. That converts to just $1,300~ USD for the 12GB/256GB variant.

In an interesting surprise, though, Honor is actually packing a bigger battery in the Chinese variants of the Magic V6 than it is the global model. As GSMArena pointed out, there’s a 6,850mAh battery in the base models, while the top 16GB/1TB model gets a massive 7,150 mAh battery. It’s not clear why there’s such a big difference between those tiers, but the limit on the battery size in the global model probably boils down to regulations in some regions, among other factors.

There’s no set date on when the Honor Magic V6 will go on sale in global markets such as Europe, but deliveries in China begin on March 13, with orders open now.
