Google Nest Wifi Pro rolling out March 2026 update

As mentioned in the “What’s new in Google Home” changelog earlier this month, the Nest Wifi Pro is getting a March 2026 update.

The Nest Wifi Pro goes from software version 3.76.479819 to 3.78.518349. Officially, “this software update improves Nest Wifi Pro security, stability, and mesh performance.”

That’s a pretty straightforward description and par for the course. We haven’t noticed any obvious changes with this new firmware.

This “Nest Wifi Pro March 2026 software update” was first announced as part of the March 2, 2026 entry, but we’re just seeing it on our router. Updates occur automatically overnight.

To check, select your Nest Wifi Pro from the “All devices” tab and tap the settings gear icon in the top-right corner. You can find “Software information” under the “Wi-Fi information” section.

The last update was in July 2025, but Google has yet to refresh the “Wifi software versions and release notes.”
