Following up on last year’s OnePlus Pad 3, a new OnePlus Pad 3 Pro is reportedly coming soon with a smaller 8.8-inch “Mini” also in the works.
Leaker Digital Chat Station on Weibo reports that OnePlus has two new tablets in the pipeline, the first being a “Pro” version of OnePlus Pad 3. The tablet is said to have a 13.2-inch display – the same as the standard model – but with a bump in the internal specs.
The “Pro” would jump up to Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 with 16GB of RAM and 512GB of UFS 4.1 storage. By contrast, OnePlus Pad 3 had Snapdragon 8 Elite and started with 12GB of RAM and 256GB of UFS 4.0 storage. Not a huge upgrade, but not nothing either.
New to the lineup would be a supposed “OnePlus Pad Mini,” a new entrant in the tiny tablet space that’s been growing with the rise of gaming-focused Android tablets. The new tablet would have an 8.8-inch display and use the slighty-less-powerful Snapdragon 8 Gen 5 chipset. The rest of the specs are unknown at this time, but it would apparently release sometime after the “Pro” model.
