As its launch approaches this month, Oppo is continuing to tease its upcoming camera-centric Find X9 Ultra which packs a pair of 200MP sensors, as well as a 10x periscope zoom lens.
In a post on Twitter/X, Oppo teases the breakdown of the four cameras making up the Find X9 Ultra’s setup. This includes:
- 200MP Hasselblad main camera that “rivals a 1-inch sensor”
- 200MP Hasselblad 3x “Super Portrait” telephoto
- 50MP Hasselblad 10x optical telephoto, 230mm equiv
- 50MP ultrawide camera
While crazy camera setups like this have been growing in popularity on high-end Android phones in China, this is a wild setup that will be fairly unique in the global markets Oppo plans to release the Find X9 Ultra in.
The company shared some sample shots taken on the 10x lens too, and they look pretty solid.

That’s on top of Oppo also preparing a set of teleconverter lenses to further extend what the Find X9 Ultra’s cameras are capable of (via GizmoChina).

In a further video shared to Weibo, Oppo breaks down how this camera is built and how it works on a technical level. The video itself is in Chinese, but even without a translation, it’s impressive to see the actual hardware.
Beyond the Find X9 Ultra, Oppo is also launching a new Wear OS smartwatch and new open-ear earbuds.
In recent days, too, the Find X9 Ultra leaked in a hands-on video, matching prior leaks. The full release is expected on April 21.
