Samsung’s Galaxy Z TriFold goes live one last time at 10AM ET, here’s how to get yours

In what could be your last chance to pick up Samsung’s first-ever tri-folding phone, the Galaxy Z TriFold is set to be restocked later this morning. If history is any indication, though, you’re going to want to make sure you’re prepared to add your device to cart as soon as possible.

After a brief early launch yesterday morning, Samsung is actually releasing another round — the last round, presumably — of stock for its $2,900 folding phone. The company’s website currently has a countdown leading to a 10AM ET restock, so if it’s prior to that time, head to either the waiting page or the direct product page to see if the “Add to Cart” button is live for you. Practically every time Samsung has listed this phone online, it’s sold out within minutes, so you’re going to want to be ready to buy this. Whether its previous listings moved quick because of truly high demand or just because of limited stock doesn’t matter this time. With the device officially discontinued, that high demand is now built in.

So, if you’re looking to move quick, I’d suggest making sure you’re familiarized with Samsung’s online storefront. That includes moving through the checkout process on a currently in-stock device to see what information the brand needs when you’re trying to move fast. Knowing how to quickly skip past optional accessories, for example, might be the difference between you landing a shiny new TriFold and you ending up disappointed. Make sure you’re signed in with a Samsung account, too, so you can preload your payment and shipping information if you haven’t already.

It’s going to be a rush either way, so get ready. At 10AM ET, the (digital) doors for Samsung’s shop open to all would-be TriFold buyers, and unless you’re willing to buy one off eBay — something we wouldn’t recommend for a multitude of reasons — this is the moment that truly counts. And hey, if you don’t get one, at least it sounds like it’s getting a sequel.
