Nest Mini and Audio are out of stock ahead of Google Home Speaker

With the Google Home Speaker likely shipping this month, the Nest Mini and Nest Audio are now out of stock on the Google Store.

As of Friday, the US Google Store product pages for the Nest Audio and Mini list the Google Assistant speakers as “Out of stock.” An “Unavailable” status is also front and center.

The Nest Mini is no longer available at Best Buy, while the Nest Audio is on clearance.

This is also the case in Canada, while European and Australian Google Stores show a “Sign in to get notified” / “Get notified” message.

This is not a particularly surprising development, with the Nest Mini released in 2019 and the Nest Audio from 2020. That said, both devices will get the Gemini for Home voice assistant.

The Google Home Speaker is the intended replacement, with listings for the older devices likely going away once the new model becomes available. Google still has a few more weeks to meet its spring 2026 deadline.

In terms of smart displays, the Chalk and Mist Nest Hub are out of stock, with Charcoal and Sand still available. Similarly, the Charcoal Nest Hub Max is available, but not Chalk. There are early signs of a “Google Home Display.”
