Google TV homescreen will showcase the World Cup and where to watch matches

Google TV is rolling out a new update starting which, on the homescreen, will showcase live matches, highlights, and more, all in one place.

Starting today, Google TV users will see a homescreen update which showcases live matches, upcoming matches, as well as highlights and post-game content during the 2026 World Cup. This includes pulling in content from apps such as Fox One and Tubi, amidst others.

This will all appear within a Sports topic page, accessible through the featured carousel and others.
