Galaxy Watch Ultra 2 leaks from every angle, and looks pretty familiar [Gallery]

Following a Galaxy Watch 9 leak yesterday, new renders of the Galaxy Watch Ultra 2 have hit the web revealing a familiar design from a familiar source.

Old habits die hard, with the infamous Evan Blass returning to his “Leakmail” newsletter with Galaxy Watch Ultra 2 renders about two months after announcing he’d retire from the leak game. Blass shared seven images of the Ultra 2, showcasing the smartwatch in two colorways.

The Galaxy Watch Ultra 2, based on these images, doesn’t really look all that different from its predecessor. Changes include:

  • Numbers along the bezel
  • The orange button accent is now a smaller ring
  • Accent colors have been removed from the two additional buttons
  • There’s now more separation between the buttons
  • The band design has been updated and now has an “Ultra” wordmark

That’s pretty much it.

Blass didn’t offer up any additional info with this leak, but it stands to reason we could see some minor dimension adjustments or any other number of small tweaks. But, if there are any significant differences between generations, it’s likely they’re all under the hood.

As far as the two colors go, there’s a dark case with a blue tint, while the lighter color is more of a gray. There’s a dark grey band to go with the darker case, and a green band with the lighter. Both have the same orange accents.

Galaxy Watch Ultra 2 is expected to launch next month alongside new foldables.
