If you have Private Space enabled on Android 15, Google is aware of “some known issues you may experience when you use a Wear OS watch.”
The issues, which Google detailed in a support document, have to do with notifications from Private Space apps on your phone appearing on a paired wearable.
Officially, you’re not supposed to “receive private space notifications on your watch.” Google adds that you “won’t find media controls on your watch for private space apps.”
That said:
Known issues: For some Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) devices, you might get notifications from private space apps on your watch when private space is unlocked on your phone. These may have a work profile icon badge.
Work Profile is an entirely separate Android feature aimed at enterprise/business users and siloing off data. It’s conceptually similar to Private Space, but those two icons are not interchangeable.
Additionally, Google warns how:
Even if you don’t have a work profile on your phone, you might find a work profile tab in the Wear OS app if you have private space set up.
Google provides no timeline on fixes, but this will presumably be addressed in future Android and/or Wear OS updates to keep Private Space experiences siloed to your phone.
