Android 16 DP1: Privacy dashboard gets 7-day history

With Android 15, Google elevated the Privacy dashboard into the main Security & privacy page, and Android 16 DP1 adds a 7-day permissions history.

To date, including on Android 15 QPR2 Beta 1, the Privacy dashboard provides a 24-hour history of apps that accessed your Location, Camera, and Microphone.

Android 16 Developer Preview 1 extends that history with “Show 7 days” in the Privacy dashboard’s overflow menu (alongside the existing “Show system” apps option).

There’s no change to the design of the timeline in each of the three usage pages, with the list just getting longer.

It’s a nice addition for those that use the Camera and Mic access toggles, as well Location’s on/off Tile, in Quick Settings.
