Following its debut in China in October, it’s today been officially confirmed that the OnePlus 13 will be launching globally in January 2025, but stopped short of providing a specific release date.
In a post on the OnePlus Community today, Pete Lau officially revealed that the OnePlus 13 will see a release date outside of China sometime in January 2025. The exact date wasn’t mentioned, but given the device saw an earlier release in China compared to last year’s OnePlus 12, it’s likely to be fairly early in the month.
Lau says:
That’s not all. I’m thrilled to share that in January 2025, we’ll unveil the OnePlus 13, our next flagship. It’s going to be an experience that redefines excellence, and I can’t wait for you to be part of it.
A landing page on OnePlus’ website very loosely suggests the OnePlus 13 global release could land somewhere around January 5.
The OnePlus 13 will be one of the first devices with Snapdragon 8 Elite when it launches in the US, as well as delivering hardware updates such as new cameras, a flat display, and more.
The rest of the post celebrates OnePlus’ 11th year anniversary, recapping 2024 launches such as OnePlus 12, Buds 3 Pro, Watch 2, and more. In teasing 2025, “collaborating with Google” is mentioned in regards to new AI features in OxygenOS.
