The next-generation Galaxy Flip and Fold phones are more than likely inbound this summer, but you are not likely to be saving $800+ on one of those anytime soon like you right now at Best Buy for the Fold 7 (without having to trade anything in).
There are some $350 price drops live on brand new condition, unlocked units over at Amazon right now, but Best Buy has some wild prices on “excellent” condition open-box units still flying right now, and there’s not telling how much stock remains at this price:

Regularly $2,200, these mid-range 512GB models are are seeing some seriously deep discounts in both the Black and Shadow Blue colorways right now – they are both sitting at $819 under the new list price.
It is also worth noting that Amazon is offering the 512GB model down at $1,770 right now, or within $70 of the lowest price we have tracked there. But even by comparison to the all-time low price, today’s Best Buy open-box offers are still $319 less.
We certainly wouldn’t blame anyone for waiting on the new series 8 Galaxy foldable later this year, and the potential trade-in values available on those. But the still current-gen series 7 models are wonderful foldables and will remain so for at least another year to come, if you ask me.

Clearance pricing strikes Microsoft’s Surface Laptop 7 with 10-core Snapdragon X Plus at $577 off
As part of the ongoing Memorial Day sale, Amazon is offering Microsoft’s Surface Laptop 7 Snapdragon X Plus Copilot+ PC in Platinum finish for $799.99 shipped. Originally priced at $1,200, this model has more recently been listed for as much as $1,377. Today’s offer takes $577 off that price, bringing back the lowest price we’ve tracked so far for this feature-packed notebook. With Microsoft already rolling out the new Surface Laptop 8 Business models – and refreshed Snapdragon-powered consumer versions expected soon – this deal feels very much like clearance pricing, making now a particularly good time to grab one. We have featured loads of deals on the B5 over the last several months, not only because there has simply been plenty of great offers, but also because this is one of the better OLED TVs out there you can save a ton on. It’s certainly not the new C6 or G6 models, but the 2025 B5 delivers a ton of value and still lands an LG OLED in your living room, home theater, or game room for a whole lot less.
