Nothing says it plans to release six smartphones next year, ‘wider range’ of devices

Nothing apparently has lofty goals for 2027, with the company saying that it plans to launch “twice as many” smartphones as it did in 2026, which would be a total of six new devices.

So far in 2026, Nothing has released three new smartphones. Nothing Phone (4a), Phone (4a) Pro, and Phone (4b). And, as far as we’re aware, that’s it for the rest of this year. But in 2027, it’s “double or Nothing” – I’m so sorry for this bad pun.

Anyway.

Speaking with TimesNowNews, Nothing’s Akis Evangelidis says that not only is Nothing planning to double its number of new smartphones released in 2027, but it will include a “wider range” of devices. The company is due for a new flagship, but it’s hard to say anything for certain as to what might be in the pipeline.

It’s still too early to discuss individual products, but I can say we’ve launched three smartphones (Nothing Phone 4a, Phone 4a Pro and Phone 4b) this year, and we’re looking to launch twice that number next year. We’ll share more details closer to launch, but the idea is to have a wider range of smartphones…

This comes just after Nothing denied a report that claimed the company’s global sales were struggling, with confirmed shuffles behind the scenes as the company reorganizes its efforts. Another recent report claims that Nothing is betting its future on AI devices and lessening focus on smartphones – plans to launch six new phones seems to disagree with that report.

It’s also surprising timing, given the crunch that RAMageddon has put on the budget smartphones that have proven successful for Nothing thus far. Plans for a new CMF Phone, the interview brings out, are still up for debate. Evangelidis explains regarding a new CMF Phone:

Even this year, we pulled off the plug quite late. We’re looking at different ways on how we could make it happen for next year. But that’s still in consideration. We’re staying close to how the memory price will evolve. But on the Nothing side, the plans are pretty much set in terms of doubling our product portfolio and as part of that, we’re looking to grow our volumes by 50 per cent within next year compared to this year. This is why we’re also scaling our product portfolio…

The interview further dives into Nothing’s upcoming plans, including two new physical stores in India, a deeper focus on the company’s success in audio products, as well as plans for some more new products before the end of 2026. A smartwatch is rumored.
