The countdown clock is ticking and today could be your very last chance at the big-time Galaxy Z Fold 8, Fold 8 Ultra, and Flip 8 pre-orders. Alongside the up to $1,230 off with an instant trade-in credit, which might not be nearly as generous starting as soon as tomorrow (no matter which device you have to trade), Samsung is also serving up FREE $200 credits that can score you a FREE set of Galaxy Buds 4, a giant deal on Galaxy Watch 9, or as much as $300 off Galaxy Watch Ultra 2 when ordered alongside the new phones. Delivery times are starting to seriously slip directly from Samsung though, so it is also worth considering the Best Buy and Amazon pre-order deals as well.

If you are not trading in and are looking to land a huge deal on some added Galaxy gear, the deals directly from Samsung are largely going to be your best bet, as you can apply the $230 credit to all of the watch releases, the latest buds, and even already discounted Galaxy Tabs:

When adding either of the new watches to the same cart with your Galaxy Z Fold 8 or Fold 8 Ultra pre-order you can land a giant discount on the watch itself – $268 off the Galaxy Watch 9 and as much as $300 of the new Ultra 2:

There is a good chance we will see some of these offers remain through the week or longer, but if the last couple Galaxy launches are any indication, the trade-in values could drop, and we will likely see less FREE credit and promo discounts.

As we detailed this morning, today is your last shot at pre-orders on the new  Galaxy Z Fold 8, Fold 8 Ultra, and Flip 8, and there’s no telling what the deals will look like starting tomorrow. While Amazon traditionally will leave some of its notable gift cards offers live after launch day, that’s not always the case, so today might be your last shot at the up to $100 in FREE gift cards with Galaxy Watch Ultra 2 and Galaxy Watch 9, as well as the up to $350 in Amazon gift cards on the Fold 8 series phones.

You’ll certainly want to explore your options when it comes to bundle options – the official Samsung site is seriously delayed on pre-order deliveries at this point for some models, but it does have some wild deals on the new watches and buds when bundled with the Fold 8 series phones. You’ll find the details on these deals below. 

But we, first, wanted to highlight the Amazon gift card offers live on the Galaxy Watch Ultra 2 and Galaxy Watch 9 for folks only interested in the new wearables. Amazon is offering the best deals on both models right now head of delivery day:

The same goes for the Fold 8/Ultra and Flip 8 – both Amazon and Best Buy are, for the most part, delivering pre-orders much sooner than the Samsung site at this point:

Nothing’s 2026 Headphone (a) just dropped down to one of the lowest prices to date at $165

Just after catching the launch deal on the brand’s new CMF Clip Pro open earbuds down at $79, one of the more compelling Nothing audio releases this year is also getting a solid price drop – the 2026 Nothing Headphone (a) have now dropped down to $165 shipped. 

Amazon is now offering the Nothing Headphone (a) down at $164.99 shipped in the newer yellow colorway as well as the classic silver/white. 

Regularly $199, this is the lowest price we have tracked since release outside of the limited time Prime Day deals down at $151. In fact, there have been less than handful of deals since this set debuted, and this is the only time we have seen them drop below $169 at Amazon outside of the late June Prime Day sale. 

Some of the best value out there when it comes to 2026 over-ear headphones releases, as we detailed in our hands-on review, they deliver that unmistakable Nothing design alongside up to 135 hours of battery life between charges. You’ll also find the brand’s “innovative Smart Adaptive Mode” that will adjust “seamlessly to your surroundings, while the Transparency Mode allows ambient sounds for situational awareness.”

Head back to school with this touchscreen Lenovo Chromebook at just $199 (52% off)

As part of its ongoing Back to School sale, Best Buy is offering one of Lenovo’s IdeaPad Slim 3 Chromebooks for $199 shipped. This 4GB/64GB config typically sells for $419, so today’s deal takes $220 off and delivers a sizeable 52% discount, marking the lowest price we’ve tracked for it so far. We recently saw the more capable 8GB/128GB version receive a notable discount as part of the retailer’s daily deals, but the entry-level model is getting the larger price cut today. At $199, it offers much better value for students and casual users than it does at full price, especially for folks who mainly rely on web apps and cloud storage for basic schoolwork, browsing, streaming, and more. Lenovo’s IdeaPad Slim 3 Chromebook is a practical option for schoolwork, browsing, streaming, and other everyday tasks. The variant discounted today sports a 14-inch WUXGA touchscreen, giving you a little more vertical room than a standard 1080p display while also making ChromeOS easier to navigate. It runs on MediaTek’s Kompanio 540 processor with integrated graphics, paired with 4GB of RAM and 64GB of UFS storage. That makes it better suited to lighter use than heavy multitasking, but it should still handle web apps, documents, and media without much trouble. Cloud storage will likely do most of the heavy lifting here, with the onboard space left for essential apps and some offline files.
