Google’s latest Pixel Watch software updates have also transitioned the entire lineup over to the new 3D emoji design also live on Pixel phones in Android 17.
Google launched its 3D emoji as a refresh to the entire catalog, adding more life and character to each design as the company detailed in a recent post.
These arrived first on Pixel 11 devices, but will be expanding to devices from Nothing, Lenovo, Xiaomi, Oppo/OnePlus, Honor, Motorola, and others in time, Google confirmed.
Fittingly, they’re also now showing up on Pixel Watch.
The latest September update (which carries the August 2026 security patch) brings 3D emoji to older Pixel Watch models, as they were already available on Pixel Watch 5. See below for a before/after from Pixel Watch 3.
This is rolling out now for Pixel Watch 2, 3, and 4 alongside improved gesture support and more.
