Today’s 9to5Toys Lunch Break is headlined by some major Galaxy Z Fold 8 deals – 256GB up to $440 off or the 512GB at over $530 off (Best Buy open-box). We also have Lenovo’s latest Tab Plus Gen 2 at a new $270 all-time low and the launch of early fall Prime Day pricing on the latest Echo Show smart displays at up to $100 off and Echo smart speaker deals now live from $22 (up to 50% off). Amazon updates early fall Prime Day sale with new deals: Apple, Google, Anker, Ring, more

While you can still land brand new condition Galaxy Z Fold 8 models at $250 off directly from Samsung and at Amazon (started to jump back in price), we wanted to take a closer look at the Best Buy “excellent” condition open-box units. We are now seeing the 256GB Galaxy Z Fold 8 models at up to $441 off and this 512GB Graphite model at over $530 off the new list price.

If you must have a new condition unit, there are still $250 price drops live at various retailers, on top of some bundle options straight from Samsung. For the lowest price, however, the Best Buy “excellent” condition open-box units are the best bet and some configurations have now dropped down even lower:

The 256GB Lavender model at $441 off is certainly one of the highlights here, but you’ll also find the Graphite 512GB model at a particularly notable price as well – the regularly $2,100 handset is now at $536 off the list price for one of the best deals we have tracked yet on the Fold 8.

Lenovo’s latest Tab Plus Gen 2 with JBL Pro speakers just hit a new $270 all-time low (Reg. $400)

We’re now tracking a deal at Lenovo that drops its latest Tab Plus Gen 2 Android tablet down to $269.99 shipped. That’s $130 off its usual $400 price and a new all-time low, undercutting the previous $285 best price we tracked last month when this model saw its first notable discount. This is the lowest price we have tracked for this tablet, and it’s worth considering if you want something more capable than Lenovo’s entry-level Idea Tab models without stepping all the way up to the pricier Yoga or Legion lineup. The Lenovo Tab Plus Gen 2 is a pretty solid all-around Android tablet, especially if you care about media consumption. It pairs a 12.1-inch 2.5K 90Hz display with a 9-speaker JBL system tuned by Dolby Atmos, which should make it a great fit for streaming movies, music, and other everyday use. Under the hood, you’re getting a MediaTek Dimensity 7400 chip with 8GB of RAM and 128GB of UFS 3.1 storage, along with a large 10,200mAh battery and 45W charging. It also supports Lenovo’s Tab Pen Plus and Wireless Keyboard, so you can turn it into a more capable work or note-taking setup when needed.

There are also plenty of TCL Android tablets on sale right now as part of Amazon’s early Fall Prime Day event, with a few solid options worth checking out if you want something different from Lenovo’s latest models. You can find our favorite deals from the lineup right here.

Early fall Prime Day pricing hits latest Echo Show smart displays at up to $100 off

Alongside as much as 50% off the latest lineup of Echo smart speakers, the now updated early fall Prime Day sale is also delivering a series of deals across the latest Echo Show smart display models starting from $60 with as much as $100 in savings.

There are some kids models starting at $60 right now, but the real highlight deals land on the two latest models, the Echo Show 8 down at $124.99 and the Echo Show 11 at $149.99 shipped. 

This is 38% and 40% off the list prices to mark the return of all-time lows here. Both of these deals are matching the June summer Prime Day deals and only the second time we have seen the latest Echo Show models down at a price this low. 

As mentioned above, you’ll also find the smaller 5-inch variants as well as the over-sized options and some kids’ models marked down in the early Prime Big Deal Days sale today as well:

Early fall Prime Day Echo smart speaker deals now live from $22 (Up to 50% off)

Amazon has once again updated the early fall Prime Day deals with a host of discounts on much of its latest Echo gear. Including both the Echo smart speakers and the Echo Show smart displays, we are now looking at up to 50% off and deals starting from $22. 

Amazon has now injected the early Prime Big Deal Days sale with a collection of discounts across its Echo smart gear lineup. You’ll find kids’ models starting down at $22 Prime shipped alongside the latest Echo Dot Max and Echo Studio at up to 33% off. 

Those offers also join a solid price drop on what remains my favorite model in the lineup, the Amazon Echo Spot smart speaker with the animated display, at 50% off the list price – it has dropped from the now $110 list price to $55 shipped. This does appear to have seen an official price increase recently, but is now at the best price in months.

Giant deal knocks latest wireless Ring Battery Doorbell 2K to just $40 (60% off, all-time low)

The early Prime Big Deal Days sale has now been updated with a series of new deals. We have already highlighted the new all-time lows on the latest Ring 4K smart doorbells at $100 off, but Amazon is also offering a giant 60% discount on the latest wireless Ring Battery Doorbell 2K at just $40. 

Amazon is now offering the latest Ring Battery Doorbell 2K down at $39.99 shipped. 

This model released this past spring with a $100 list price and is now seeing sizable $60 price drop – that’s 60% off and the lowest price we have ever tracked. Previous to today we caught a notable summer Prime Day deal at $50 and a few lighter discounts at $70, but nothing quite as solid as we are getting here today. 

While we are still a little over a week away from the official October 6 start date for the big fall Prime Day sale, this model, much like it’s higher-end 4K counterparts, is already seeing a seriously notable discount. While it certainly could happen, the chances of this thing dropping any lower than this are low at best.
