Launched earlier this year, that useful little USB-C charger dongle for Google’s Pixel Watch 4 and Pixel Watch 5 smartwatches is currently discounted.
Google’s latest take on smartwatch charging debuted on last year’s Pixel Watch 4 series, with two pins popping out of the smartwatch to connect with a magnetic dock. Google’s official charging cable works well enough, but it’s just another thing to plug in when you’re traveling.
Wasserstein, a long-time Made for Google accessory partner, launched a handy alternative earlier this year. A simple charger that attaches to the end of any USB-C cable give you the option to cut down on some bulk while still being able to easily top off your smartwatch on the go. Its price was in flux for quite a while, but eventually settled at $30.
Right now, though, it’s discounted to $25. Not a huge discount, but it certainly makes the handy charger an easier buy if you have any travel coming up through the end of the year.
As a reminder, this works with all Pixel Watch 4 and Pixel Watch 5 smartwatches, regardless of if you’re using the 41mm or 45mm sizes. You’ll want to plug into at least 7.5W of power, but you’re likely getting that from whatever charger you’re using with your smartphone anyway. Just keep in mind that Pixel Watch 3 and prior cannot use this charger.
