The first leak of Google’s upcoming Pixel 11a just hit the web, revealing a virtually unchanged design, as well as suggesting that the mid-range device might get a purple colorway.
@OnLeaks and Android Headlines today published a series of CAD-based renders depicting the Pixel 11a and, yeah, it looks very familiar. The same camera bar-less design as the Pixel 10a and Pixel 9a before it, and essentially identical dimensions at 153.46 x 72.35 x 9mm – Pixel 10a was 153.9 x 73 x 9mm.
The only other noteworthy tidbit here includes the color lineup, which the report claims will include black, silver, green, and purple.
Purple would certainly be welcome, as Google’s attempts at purple thus far have included 2019’s “Purple-ish” Pixel 3a in a very light shade of the color, while Pixel 9a’s “Iris” had a periwinkle-like color. The renders depict a deeper purple color, but it’s unclear if that’s based on any actual leaked information beyond the mere idea of the phone being purple.
A prior leak suggests Pixel 11a will be powered by Tensor G6, skipping Tensor G5 in the mid-range lineup after Pixel 10a stuck with Tensor G4.
