According to an alleged email from Nothing’s Carl Pei, the upcoming Nothing Phone (3) is all about building towards a new “AI-powered platform.”

Google’s Circle to Search feature, which first debuted on Samsung Galaxy and Google Pixel devices in early 2024, is now coming to the Nothing Phone series with the new Android 15 update that launched this month.

After launching in beta on select devices over the past few months, Nothing is now rolling out a stable Android 15 update to the Nothing Phone (2) and Phone (2a) ahead of other devices.

Truly wireless earbuds are basically a commodity at this point. You can find options at any price point that sound decent and work well enough. Nothing has been announced that the latest version of its own OS – Nothing OS 3.0 – will launch tomorrow in an open beta phase for the Phone (2). The beta brings a slew of major improvements from Android 15.

Nothing is launching yet another variant of the Phone (2a), with the new “Community Edition” arriving with a glow in the dark design.

Built on top of Android 15, Nothing OS 3.0 is a pretty big overhaul to the company’s Android skin, which was already one of the best on the market. After playing around with the update, I’m pretty happy with the various upgrades Nothing has made, at least for the most part.
