The Nothing Phone (1) is getting a notable new update, as the company brings Google’s Circle to Search to the device alongside other tweaks.

The Nothing Phone (1) just picked up its stable Android 15 release, which is very likely the phone’s final major Android update.

Clicks is a neat keyboard case for the latest iPhone models that adds a functional physical keyboard to the device. Clicks is, for now, not bringing its keyboard case to Android, but at least one Android phone does work with it.

In a cheeky post on Twitter/X, Nothing announced that Android 14 with the Nothing OS 2.5 open beta is now available for its first device, the Phone (1).

It’s been announced today that Nothing OS 2.0, the software that makes the Nothing Phone (2) so good, is now rolling out to last year’s Nothing Phone (1).

The Nothing Phone (2) has already seen a couple of updates pertaining to camera improvements in its short life. Still, the Nothing Phone (2) is apparently getting another software update that brings further fixes. On top of that, the original Phone (1) will soon get the newest iteration of software –Nothing OS 2.0.

With the Nothing Phone (2), the new “Glyph Composer” was added with support for creating fully custom ringtones, and now, the company is launching a new sound pack built in collaboration with Swedish House Mafia.

The Nothing Phone (2)’s software might just be its biggest asset – not based on its features but on its stability and polish. However, it does have some good features too. Nothing is now rolling out a monochrome icon pack for Phone (2) that themes not just supported icons but everything on your homescreen.
