Samsung rolling out February 2025 update to these Galaxy devices ahead of One UI 7

While there are still no details on Samsung’s One UI 7 rollout, the company continues on with its monthly update schedule, with the February 2025 update now available for select Galaxy devices.

Samsung Galaxy February 2025 update – What’s new?

It was originally expected that Samsung would be using the February 2025 monthly update as its initial One UI 7 rollout to the Galaxy S24 series and other older devices. That, however, has not happened, as Samsung is apparently gearing up to release at least one more beta before a stable rollout.

So what is new?

As per usual, the February 2025 update for Galaxy devices is primarily a security patch. Samsung details 34 patches from Google’s latest security bulletin that are contained in this latest update. There’s a single critical patch with the rest being high-priority. The update also addresses 7 further patches specific to Samsung’s own software.
