Google Q3 earnings live blog

(Update: Over, check it out after the break) Starting at 4:30 ET, Google will be hosting their quarterly earnings call to discuss Q3 earnings with investors. We’ll be updating below when the call starts, or you can listen in here. Stay tuned!

Larry Page, Patrick Pichette, Nikesh Arora, and Susan Wojcicki will be hosting the call — starting in just a few minutes.

Ahead of the call, Google has announced $9.72 billion in revenue, $2.73 billion in net income, and 40 million Google+ users. 

Google’s stock has climbed 30 points in after hours trading.

The call has begun, reading off disclaimers and welcoming us to the call.

Larry Page, Google’s CEO, has joined in the call. Announces close to $10 billion dollars in revenue, up 33% over Q3 2010.

Larry Page is proud of the over 100 features Google Plus has in over 90 days. Google plus has hit 40 million users and 3.4 billion photos shared.

Google plans on closing more products to streamline. Larry calls this crucial.

Over 200 million Chrome users.

Over 190 million Android devices activated. Larry is excited for Ice Cream Sandwich, says “you won’t believe what we have managed to do in this release.”

Patrick Pichette is on the call talking financials. $6.7 billion in site revenue and $2.6 billion in Google Network revenue.

$4.4 billion in U.S. revenue.

Google’s head-count is 33,000 full-time employees, 2,000+ added over last quarter from university hirings.

Nikesh Arora on the line talking business. Announces display deals with agencies that total $600 million in revenue.

Strong business growth world-wide. Helped 700,000 businesses get online in Q3.

Susan Wojcicki on the line. Talking product improvements like Google Search and Flight Search.

Strong revenue in advertising. Google is excited about Adwords express.

Google Offers expanded to 11 cities — Miami added last week.
