With the new Android Wear-powered LG G Watch already shipping from Google Play in the US and about to hit AT&T on July 11th, LG announced today that the device is now available worldwide. The device, which sells for $230 here in the US, will become available in just about every key market for LG through number of both online and offline retailers. Here’s the breakdown of countries and info on availability straight from LG:
LG G Watch will beavailable both online and offline in twelve countries: United States, Canada, France, Ireland, Germany, Italy, Spain, United Kingdom, Australia, India, Japan and South Korea. In fifteen other countries, among which include key markets such as Brazil, Mexico, Russia, Singapore and New Zealand, the LG G Watch will be available at retailers. Prices will be announced locally in each market.
The LG G Watch is one of the first Android Wear smart watches you can get your hands on with the other being the Samsung Gear Live that is also now shipping from Google Play in the US ahead of a larger roll out. You can check out our video comparison of the two new Android Wear devices here.
