Hands-on: Legend ANC headphones and Chant Mini speaker from The House of Marley (Video)

Along our CES 2015 journey we stopped over at The House of Marley to take a look at some of the new gear they have launching this year. If you’re not familiar with the company, they create a wide range of audio accessories which are crafted from natural and recycled materials. In the video below, we took a closer look at the Legend ANC headphones and Chant Mini Bluetooth speaker…

First up we have the Chant Mini. This little Bluetooth speaker has a 1.5-inch driver, 4 watts of power, up to six hours of battery life, and comes in a small and portable splash resistant housing. There’s also a set of button controls and an auxiliary input. The Chant Mini is expected to be released in the near future for $49.99. The Chant Mini is actually a sequel to The House of Marley’s original Chant speaker line, but obviously the Mini is going to be a very portable solution.

Next, we’re taking a look at the Legend ANC headphones (MSRP $299). These solid over-the-ears bring 24db of active noise cancelation and 20+ hours of battery life. The feature a tangle-free braided cable with in-line controls for play/pause etc They are built like a tank with all metal sides and wood accents, but in my opinion they look way better than some of the other noise canceling headphones that are currently out on the market. The Legend ANC headphones will even operate without power as regular headphones so you won’t have to worry about loosing your tunes if the battery dies, but you will miss out on the noise cancellation.

Both of these products should be coming to market in the near future. All pricing and availability along with the other announcements from House of Marley can be found in the press release below:
