Sprint’s HTC One M9 updated to Android 5.1 (and LG G4 gets a minor update)

The HTC One M9 might not be the most popular flagship of the year, but that doesn’t mean it doesn’t get its share of software updates. Those who have the device on Sprint will be happy to learn that they will be getting Android 5.1 Lollipop starting today, according to Sprint’s website.

Also of note, Sprint’s LG G4 is getting a minor update today as well. It’s not an upgrade to Lollipop version 5.1, but the device is getting an OTA update that includes “reactivation lock updates”. It’s a very minor version bump, up to LS991ZV5 from LS991ZV4.

Both of these updates should be rolling out now, so be sure to keep an eye on the software update page in Settings over the next couple of days.
