These Google-made ‘Really Blue’ jeans might be available to buy before the blue Pixel

To mark the limited edition ‘Really Blue’ Pixel and Pixel XL finally coming to other countries, Google has partnered with a British fashion designer to create jeans befitting the color. Their signature feature is a sole custom-sized pocket for the phone.

This partnership specifically marks the color variant being available for purchase in the UK through EE. Created by celebrity designer Christopher Cowan, they feature Google’s marquee color and oddly sport a singular pocket.

The rational, according to Google, is that “we do everything on our phones.” The only other notable design flourish of these jeans is the ruffle found on the waist and backside.

Shockingly, these jeans are in fact purchasable, but require a special fitting with Cowan himself. The price — and likely exact pocket size — will be determined during that session.

While advertising for the Pixel continues to surpass any previous Google product, the company continues to have a hard time actually keeping the device in stock. It would sure be an odd turn of events if you could buy these jeans before owning the actual phone.
