Google has a history of leaving small Easter eggs in its products and recently the search giant snuck a small gem into its Chrome browser. Discovered by Chrome evangelist François Beaufort, there’s a small endless runner game hidden in the latest version of Chrome’s Canary build. In order to launch the game, you’ll need to take your system offline and attempt to connect to a webpage.

After that, you’ll receive a connection error message loaded with the little T-Rex icon. Once at this screen, tap the spacebar and watch the little dinosaur get hurled into an endless runner game where it constantly has to jump over cactuses or cacti, depending on whom you ask. The game works with both Windows and Mac versions of Google’s experimental browser, so feel free to take your pick between the two platforms.

Now that you know about this game, go ahead take your browser offline, give it a go and come back and share your high score in the comments below.
