There’s definitely nothing completely conclusive about this, but the upcoming HTC One M9 flagship showed up on online retailer B&H’s website (via PhoneArena), sporting a price tag of $649 and an “available for purchase” date of Wednesday, March 25th. Since earlier this morning, both of these tidbits have been stripped from the page, and replaced with “Price not available yet” and “Coming soon” placeholders…
The variant that’s on the B&H website is the silver and gold 32GB model, and obviously it’s the unlocked version at this price. At $649, the device is a little bit cheaper than what most assume the non-Edge Galaxy S6 will cost, and is the exact same that as its predecessor, the HTC One (M8), was when it first launched.
The HTC One M9 was announced at the beginning of this month at the Mobile World Congress, and will be shipping four colors. The device has a 5-inch 1920 x 1080 resolution display, Android 5.0.2 Lollipop with Sense 7, 3 GB of RAM, a 20.7-megapixel rear camera, a 4-megapixel Ultrapixel front-facing shooter, the latest Snapdragon 810 processor, and a 2,840mAh battery.
