Blue Coral Galaxy S7 Edge officially coming to the US by the end of this year, other regions starting Nov 1st

After debuting the color on the ill-fated Galaxy Note 7, Samsung announced last week that the Galaxy S7 Edge would debut in the unique “Blue Coral” in certain countries internationally, and now the company has confirmed it will be coming to the US.

Starting later this year the Galaxy S7 Edge will be available from Samsung, presumably from carriers and unlocked — after all, we’ve already seen a Verizon back panel leaked.

Just like the standard model, the Blue Coral Galaxy S7 Edge packs the Snapdragon 820 processor, 4GB of RAM, 32GB of base storage, a microSD card slot, 12MP rear camera, IP68 dust/water resistance, and that curved 5.5-inch QHD SuperAMOLED display. Samsung didn’t confirm any difference in pricing on this model, so there’s no reason to believe it will differ in price at all from existing S7 Edge units.

This new color will be debuting in regions around the world starting tomorrow, November 1st, but we don’t have a specific date for US availability further than “by the end of the year.”

Samsung Electronics has officially released its sixth color edition of the Galaxy S7 edge: Blue Coral. Starting November 1, the Blue Coral Galaxy S7 edge will be available in selected markets around the globe. The new Blue Coral edition follows this year’s color trends, which are less vivid and more tranquil. Inspired by nature, the color shimmers as if it is illuminated from the inside of the phone’s glass surface. In particular, Samsung applied a contrasting gold tone hue to the phone’s metallic frame. The resulting two-toned combination is at once calming and sophisticated.
