Google offering a free 4-month trial of Google Play Music & YouTube Red, a $40 value

There have been lots of Googley Black Friday deals this weekend — and more are to come this week with Cyber Monday and beyond — but few of those have actually been from Google itself. Now, Google is offering first-time users of Google Play Music a 4-month free trial, a $40 value. And that includes ad-free YouTube in the form of YouTube Red as well…

Just like the standard 3-month trial offer, this 4-month trial offer can be cancelled at any time. If you don’t cancel before the 4 months are up, you’ll be put on the $9.99 per month plan. You have to be a new Google Play Music subscriber to qualify for the special offer. To sign up, simply head over to Google Play Music’s website.

We told you just a couple of weeks ago about a major revamp of Google Play Music for Android and iOS, and Play Music also got a fresh new design on the web as well. Play Music now uses machine learning to factor in a variety of signals — like location, activity, and weather — to provide relevant playlists to deliver personalized recommendations.

Whether you want to switch from Apple Music or Spotify and try out Google’s service or you simply want to get rid of pesky YouTube ads for four months, this deal is a no-brainer.
