Following its CES 2017 announcement, Samsung has made its first 2-in-1 Chromebook, the Chromebook Plus, available for purchase.

As we’ve seen, the Chromebook Plus offers a convertible design with a 12.3-inch touchscreen display, custom ARM chipset, 4GB of RAM, 32GB of storage, stereo speakers, and all-day battery life. It also has two USB-C ports, dual-band WiFi, Bluetooth, and a microSD card slot for storage expansion. All of that comes along with Chrome OS’ relatively new ability to run Android apps.

With access to the Google Play store, Chromebook Plus owners will be able to download just about any Android app on their device, vastly expanding what their new machine is capable of doing. Further, the Chromebook Plus comes preloaded with a handful of apps focused on drawing and handwriting, all of which work with the machine’s included stylus.

The Samsung Chromebook Plus is available now from various online and brick and mortar retail stores, several of which are listed below. Pricing for this model lands at $449, which based on what we’ve seen in person, is a very solid deal. As for Samsung’s other new Chromebook, the Chromebook Pro, it will be available starting in April for $549.
