YouTube this afternoon (PT) confirmed that Creators are having an issue uploading videos. Google is aware of the problem and working on a fix.
On the web, YouTube Studio says “Upload complete” and how “Processing will begin shortly,” but there’s no progress. We’re seeing this on several of our accounts. YouTube says “video uploads [are] stuck in processing and not uploading.” You might also see an error message.
YouTube is aware of the problem and “working to fix the issue,” with the last update coming in just before 4 p.m. PT. New information will be posted here.

The site previously shared that “more than 500 hours of content are uploaded to YouTube every minute.” There are no problems watching videos or searching for them.
