What’s fixed for Pixel 9 with Android 15 October security patch

The Android 15 October security patch is rolling out for the Pixel 6, 6 Pro, 6a, 7, 7 Pro, 7a, Tablet, Fold, 8, 8 Pro, 8a, 9, 9 Pro, 9 Pro XL, and 9 Pro Fold. There are Pixel fixes across Battery & Charging, Biometrics, Bluetooth, Camera, Display & graphics, Framework, System, Telephony, and User Interface with this update.

There are 9 security issues resolved in the Android 14 October patch dated 2024-10-01 and 19 for 2024-10-05. Vulnerabilities range from high to critical. The dedicated bulletin for Google devices lists 29 additional security fixes.

The factory and OTA images are now live, along with the on-device update.
